Anyone wanting plans or documents digitised faced the usual routine: enquire, wait, receive a quote, ask again, place the order. For a service with clearly calculable work, that is double the effort, on both sides.

The goal: the whole path from 'what does it cost?' to 'ordered' should happen online, with transparent prices that customers put together themselves, nationwide and in all national languages plus English.

Solution

We built the website and ordering process as one system:

• The price calculator

  Choose format from A4 to A0, resolution and quantity, the price updates live. Transparency instead of 'price on request'.

• The order

  Order straight from the calculator: send in the originals, we handle the rest. One flow, no quote loop.

• Thought through to the end

  What happens to the originals after scanning? Customers choose when ordering: return or secure destruction. Details like this build trust.

• Four languages, one system

  German, French, Italian, English: the entire ordering process complete in every language. Nationwide really means nationwide.

Result

A service became an online product: customers calculate in minutes and order directly, orders arrive fully priced, answering price enquiries falls away. The service sells around the clock, in four languages.
